JÉRÉMY OMER

I am an assistant professor at INSA Rennes, France. I conduct my research within the Mathematics research institute of Rennes (IRMAR).

My research belong to the field of mathematical programming and combinatorial optimization. More specifically, I am interested in decomposition techniques for the solution of linear programs and two-stage stochastic optimization problem. Another focus of my research is in the modeling and the algorithmic solution of large scale  combinatorial optimization problems ensued from industrial applications.

My teaching activities focus on mathematics and computer science.

LATEST RESEARCH

To maintain separation between conflicting aircraft , controllers must simultaneously determine a potentially large set of safe trajectories in a complex operational environments.

In his PhD research Thibault Lehouillier is currently investigating a flexible modeling framework for this problem. If we consider only a finite set of possible maneuvers, the problem of maintaining separation between aircraft is equivalent to that of finding a minimum weight maximal clique in a conflict graph.
